Samsung Galaxy A34 & Galaxy A54 Receive April 2024 Security Patch Across Global Markets

Samsung is rolling out its latest software patch to Galaxy A34 and Galaxy A54 users worldwide, enhancing the security features of these mid-range smartphones. The April 2024 security update is now available in various countries across Asia, Africa, and Latin America, fortifying the devices from potential security vulnerabilities.


In the Philippines, Galaxy A34 users can expect an update with firmware version A346EXXS6BXD6. Meanwhile, in Afghanistan, Egypt, Iraq, Morocco, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, the UAE, and Tunisia, the firmware versions A346EXXS6BXD7 and A346EXXS6BXD9 are doing rounds. 

Similarly, Galaxy A54 users in Argentina, Bangladesh, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Dominican Republic, Guatemala, India, Malaysia, Mexico, Nepal, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Thailand, the Philippines, Uruguay, and Vietnam can expect to see the firmware version A546EXXS7BXD1. Its update is still awaited in some Asian regions including Pakistan. 


While these updates primarily address security vulnerabilities, users should note that no new features or performance enhancements are included in this release. Nevertheless, the updates might be crucial, and Samsung recommends installing them promptly.


If you own the latest Samsung budget 5G mobile, the Galaxy A34 or A54, watch out for the April 2024 OTA. You can easily install the update by navigating to Settings, selecting Software Update, and tapping Download and Install. Users in Pakistan may access the update once they receive the notification about its availability.

For those awaiting the One UI 6.1 update, you might have to wait a bit longer. Stay tuned for further updates as Samsung continues to send security updates and deliver timely software improvements to its Galaxy A34 and Galaxy A54 smartphones.
