Faisal Rasool

The rollout of the recently-announced Galaxy A series continues. According to sources, Samsung Galaxy A53 and A33 are already headed to Pakistan. And the Galaxy A23 and A13 should be next in line. Industry sources report that the two phones will first drop in India. And based on a typical Samsung release calendar, the two phones will land in Pakistan soon.

Samsung Galaxy A13

The Galaxy A13 is one of the cheapest new Samsung phones you can buy right now. It's a 4G model, powered by the Exynos 850. The 8nm chip is hooked up to a 5000 mAh battery, and 15W fast charging support backs up this hardware. You get the latest Android 12 x OneUI OS out of the box.

The 1080P 6.6" display has a V-cut notch. It contains an 8MP front camera. We find a minimalist cluster of 50MP wide, 5MP ultra, and two 2MP lenses on the back.

The Galaxy A13 doesn't have a camera bump and comes in peach, black, white, and blue colors. It comes in 3/4/6GB RAM and 32/64/128GB storage variants.

Samsung Galaxy A23

Galaxy A23's design matches the higher-end Galaxy A models (A53 and A33.) Its camera mound has the same four-lens system as the Galaxy A13, but the front camera features an 8MP sensor. The soft matte casing is also available in peach, white, blue, and black colors.

The V-notch display is toughened with Gorilla Glass, the power button doubles as the thumbprint reader, and we find a 3.5mm audio port embedded in the frame. No official word yet on the Samsung phone price.

The Galaxy A23 screen uses the old-gen TFT type of LCD, so the viewing angles lack the consistency and proper contrast of modern smartphones.

It's powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 4G and 5000 mAh of battery capacity. But the charging speed hits a faster 25W standard. You can choose from 4/6GB RAM and 64/128GB ROM options.
