Galaxy A15 4G was missed in the recent One UI 8.5 rollout, and so was the Samsung Galaxy A24 4G. These two phones are just now receiving the stable One UI 8.5 build through an OTA update in South Korea. But don’t worry, there are more regions on the list, and Pakistan should be among them.

The firmware is being pushed to the Galaxy A15 4G model SM-A155N. It is also reflected in the build number for this new One UI 8.5 update, which is A155NKSU9DZF1. Of course, part of the update is the May 2026 security patch that will fix several weak points in the former software.
By the way, the size of the update is quite large, because One UI 8.5 is not just a regular monthly update. Many stock apps are updated, and there’s also a patch installed on the new firmware. The download is 2.5GB, and it can be accessed through the Software Updates menu.

Now, the Galaxy A24 4G obviously has a different firmware, though the contents still match. This one also has the May 2026 security patch in the huge OTA package of 2.4GB. The specific model they are updating in Korea right now is SM-A245N. Here are the latest Samsung mobile prices, covering budget, mid-range, and flagship devices.

The firmware’s build number is A245NKSU9FZF1, of course, changed ever so slightly region by region. Pakistan’s version is the global one. One UI 8.5 has been generally adding the same few tweaks to the software on every device it’s seen on.

The quick panel is much more customizable. More clock faces on the lock screen, more animation on the widgets, and some new widgets are a part of this download. The exact facts for the A15 and A24 4G’s One UI 8.5 will be noted on the changelog.
You might want to regularly “Check for Updates” because they might unlock it in Pakistan any day now. The checker will be found in the Software Updates menu in the Settings. When the One UI 8.5 is available for download, you’ll get a prompt in the same Settings menu next to a Changelog.
