The older Galaxy A06 had a 5G version last time. And the trend continues with the Galaxy A07 as well. They’ve silently launched the Samsung Galaxy A07 5G variant in Myanmar. There seems to be a Dimensity 6300 chip inside. Most of its other specifications are the same as the original A07 LTE.

There’s one more upgrade here, and probably the most curious one to see on a Samsung phone. This may be the first phone in the company’s history to hit 6000mAh cell capacity. Yes, the Galaxy A07 5G really scores a 6000mAh battery with likely 25W (unconfirmed) charging support.
It’s normal at this point to see 6 years of OS and security updates on Samsung phones. The same is true for the Galaxy A07 5G, by the way. That Dimensity 6300 SoC gets paired with either 4GB or 6GB RAM, but there’s only 128GB of storage here. You can expand it to 2TB via an SD card.

This is still a sub-entry-level phone, so the display has its shortcomings. Its PLS LCD is a decent size at 6.7”, but the resolution is capped at 720p HD+ with 800nits brightness and the outdated notch. Samsung should move on from the notched screens in 2026. The 5G version bags the Android 16 One UI 8 version by default (vs. Android 15 on A07 4G). That means you can take this newcomer all the way up to Android 22 with 6 years of support. There’s a side fingerprint reader here, with IP54 protection from dust and water splashes.

You’ll have 5G Sub-6 support with this phone, not mmWave or UWB. This phone does have its limits. The WiFi is also dual-band only, so all you can connect to is the 5GHz WLAN. Both versions have the same camera setup, by the way.
There’s a 50MP main shooter on the Galaxy A07, which is assisted by that 2MP depth sensor at the bottom. The selfie shooter is your garden-variety 8MP snapper. ~USD 176 or ~PKR 49,000 is the base price for the Galaxy A07 5G (4/128GB) in Myanmar.
