Samsung Galaxy A07 5G Certified on its Way to Launch with 6000mAh Battery

Galaxy A06 had a 5G version last year. It’s only fair to assume that the A07 will also have a substitute. A new certification has hit our radar, and it proves that the Galaxy A07 5G exists. The rumor mill predicts that this handset will probably launch this month or in January.

You will see a screenshot of a Brazilian ANATEL certification in this article. It has passed the SM-A076M/DS handset, which is actually the Galaxy A07 5G’s model number. That same platform shared a photo of the phone’s battery, and it’s not what we imagined.

Coming from Galaxy A07 4G, you would assume a 5000mAh capacity on this new Samsung Galaxy model version as well. But it’s not the same size. They are adding 1000mAh more to the Galaxy A07 5G. That makes it the biggest battery they’ve given to any of its smartphones yet, which, honestly, is a pretty low bar.

Still, even if it’s not the flagship class, we are glad to see Samsung take that step somewhere. Galaxy A07 5G’s 6000mAh cell might be its biggest upgrade. But it’s still just an entry-level phone. So you should tune your expectations accordingly.

There’s apparently a Dimensity 6300 SoC on this handset, which is a 2.4GHz platform. Mali G57 MP2 is the GPU integrated on it. We only get 4GB base RAM on this A07 5G version, which is not a lot. There might be more options, but no official claim has been made yet.

It’s usually just a chipset difference between 5G and 4G devices from Samsung, but there might be more, such as the battery. It’s logical to assume they have the same designs. That would mean a similar 6.7” PLS LCD with a 90Hz refresh rate.

There could be a 50MP Main camera on the 5G version. An 8MP selfie sensor will lie on the screen notch cutout. It probably has a 25W charger for backup. The official safety rating may be IP54 on the Galaxy A07 5G. This is just speculation. If we find more differences between the two variants, we’ll let you know. Keep watching the news for updates.
