Realme GT Neo 2 is the sequel of the original Neo, and it debuted last month in China. Realme is now readying to introduce it to the global market. Realme has scheduled the official launch for October 13. And the phone cleared its Google certification just before the release.

The Google Play Console database lists the Realme GT Neo 2 under the mode number ‘RE5473.’ The mobile platform is often the component that phone makers swap out when releasing the product outside China. But the international Neo 2, like the Chinese variant, runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 5G chipset.

Other specs should be carried over wholesale to the international edition too. The screen would be a 6.62” OLED panel with an on-screen fingerprint scanner. It’s a flagship display featuring 1300 nits of brightness, 1080P resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and HDR10+ support. A single hole punched through its corner houses a 16MP front camera. It’s all protected by Gorilla Glass 5.

Three lenses on the new realme mobile 2021 — 64MP wide, 8MP ultra-wide, and 2MP macro — form a cluster on the phone’s back. Realme GT Neo 2 sports a more conservative design this season, offered in Black, Blue, and Yellow.

SuperDART 65W technology charging powers the Realme GT Neo 2. Realme promises a 100% top-up in just over half an hour. Everything runs on a 5000 mAh battery. You get upwards of 12GB of memory and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. NFC Payments are also enabled. The stereo speakers deliver surround sound.
