The flagship Realme GT 8 Pro is coming soon, expected to launch in China next month and sometime later this year in the global market. The official build-up for this device has finally begun, and one of the teasers has already revealed the display specifications and design. Here’s how the phone looks from the front.

The AMOLED on this flagship Realme GT 8 Pro has 2K or a wide 1440p resolution. Realme mentions BOE in the teaser, which is one of the main display providers for the company in China. This custom Q10+ screen from BOE can push pixels at a 144Hz refresh rate.

Realme says that the GT 8 Pro’s brightness has been improved this year. They added more eye protection features and enhancements to the phone. Xu Qi Chase, one of the figureheads at the company headquarters in China, also teased the front look of the screen.

The corners seem more rounded this year, with slimmer and lighter bezels at the edges. Of course, the display size and most of the phone’s other specifications haven’t been officially confirmed yet. The rumor mill, however, has plenty to share about the Realme new GT model.

Realme GT 8 and GT 8 Pro designs have already been leaked, and they both seem to carry 200MP cameras. One uses that high-res sensor for the main lens, and the other uses it for a periscope telephoto shooter. The rest of the gear may consist of a 50MP ultrawide and selfie sensors.

Realme shook hands with Ricoh Imaging to better its camera system for the GT series. This lineup has primarily served gamers for many years, but this change could spur interest among regular users. That doesn’t mean gamers will be overlooked.

Realme GT 8 Pro is among the first devices to use the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip, which has now become the most powerful SoC on the Android platform. Realme might pair that with an 8000mAh battery for better endurance and longer gaming sessions. We’ll find more about this device through teasers as we approach its launch. Keep watching the news for updates.
