The design here looks exactly like the Realme C85 Pro that arrived in Pakistan two months ago. The company has announced the vanilla Realme C85 for the Pakistani market today, which has a 7000mAh Titan battery with an IP69 Pro Resistance to liquids. They’ll deploy this phone in our market five days from now.
They say the Realme C85 will be available from January 17th in Pakistan. And there are two variants: 8/128GB and 8/256GB. Performance isn’t the big selling point of this device, so let’s get a few of its specialties out of the way first.
There’s a 7000mAh battery here. That is meant to last two days on a single 100% charge on average. They’ve tested it for a mixed full-day usage, which is usually 9 to 10 hours for most users. And the Realme latest C mobile had 50% left in the tank after the test.
Realme says even at the last 1%, this newcomer will remain on standby for 8.8 hours. There’s also a bypass charging feature, so you have the option to plug and play. Reverse charging is there to refill other devices. And they gave a 6-year battery health guarantee.
Then comes the charging speed, which is an ordinary 45W input. And that IP69 Pro resistance they’ve been talking about is actually all the IP ratings up to IP69K. So it’s fully waterproof. It has safety against high-temperature, pressurized water jets.
At this point, you must be thinking, what’s so different between the Realme C85 and C85 Pro? The display, of course, is the main reason why this one doesn’t have a Pro moniker. Realme C85 is built around a 720p HD+ 6.8” IPS LCD. The Pro had an AMOLED.
There is one advantage here. Realme C85 has a 144Hz refresh rate that the other doesn’t. This IPS panel hits 1,200 nits HBM, which is pretty bright. There’s a Snapdragon 685 here for processing and games. Realme C85 also grabs a VC cooling system to keep the chip from throttling.
The camera is 50MP for the rear Main usage. But its front shooter is 8MP. They did cram in a bunch of AI tools to make the camera output better. AI Edit Genie is also part of the package. There’s a side fingerprint and Android 15 on it. Realme C85 8/128GB’s base price is Rs 54,999, but the more recommended 8/256GB option is really close at Rs 59,999.
