Realme is ready for the next round of budget devices in the C lineup. They are already working on the Realme C85 Pro, and the company just confirmed one of its key selling points in Vietnam. This newcomer is going to house the biggest battery pack we’ve ever seen in the family.
Realme C75 came in 5G and 4G versions, and both of them carried a 6000mAh battery. There wasn’t really a Pro version last time that we can compare it directly to, but the C85 Pro is officially leveling up the capacity to 7000mAh. That’s the big surprise this year.
The endurance coming from the Realme C85 Pro will be solid, and we suspect this phone will be able to run for two days straight without needing a charge. And when you run out, there will be a 45W fast charging backup on standby, ready for a quick refill. This is also official, by the way.
Now, a 7000mAh battery does put some of the aesthetic jockeys at unease, but the new Realme 5G mobile might keep the thickness in check by using Si/C anode. All the phones with this material in Li-ion packs have been thin, so there’s no reason why this device will be any different.
Anyway, Realme Vietnam went beyond the battery details and confirmed the durability stats as well. You’ll be happy to know that C85 Pro is coming with drop protection, provided with an MIL-STD-810H certification. Again, this is similar to last year’s Realme C75.
The newcomer is also IP69 rated, which means full water and dust ingress protection with high-temperature water jet resistance. This will come in handy if you drop your phone in a dishwasher or boiling water. The display specs were spotted in a leak, and here’s what you need to know.
Realme C85 Pro is an AMOLED handset. We assume that’s where the “Pro” moniker is coming from. The basic C75 only had an IPS screen in the last round. That AMOLED screen is rated for 4000nits brightness, and you have the usual 120Hz refresh rate with FHD+ resolution.
The price tag for Realme C85 Pro is suspected to be above $250 (~PKR 70,000), which makes sense because this is a 5G phone with Dimensity 6300 and up to 8GB RAM. The launch may happen in early 2026.
