Realme C85 Pro Goes Viral in a Hands-on Video; Design & Key Specs Confirmed

The next installment in Realme’s C series is already on its way to Pakistan. Realme C85 Pro was seen in a few teasers over the last week, and just recently, it was also found on the Geekbench database with SoC details and RAM. There has been a video leak as well, and here’s what the phone looks like in real life.

Realme C85 Pro looks almost the same as last year’s C75 at first glance because of the rectangular camera hub on the back. Three lenses stick out, and there’s an LED flash to the side, just like before. But there’s one change that will help you tell these devices apart — the ring RGB LED flanking the Main camera.

This three-and-a-half-minute video first showed up on YouTube, and now it’s all over the internet, being shared by multiple publications. It’s a detailed review, by the way, so the user didn’t just go over the design; he gave a tour of every nook and cranny on this handset.

Realme had already verified in teasers that the Realme new C model will be IP69 rated with a 7000mAh Si/C battery. The C85 Pro also made a cameo on some certification, where it was confirmed to support up to 45W fast charge input, but plenty of details were still missing. This video filled in the gaps for us.

This C85 Pro has been given a Snapdragon 685 chip, which is better than the Helio G92 they used last time with the C75. But we hesitate to use the word upgrade, since there are far more capable 4G-ready chips out there that could’ve easily made the phone far more appealing.

At least, Realme didn’t cheap out on the display here. This newcomer is built around an AMOLED 6.8” FHD+ screen, and you can clearly see in the video how vibrant it looks to a viewer. The bezels are not symmetrical, but they are thin enough to fit the modern standards.

There’s 8GB of RAM on the variant shown in the video. We have up to 256GB built-in storage. The camera is mostly decoration, but there’s one functioning sensor: a 50MP Main shooter that can do 2x zoom, probably with lossless image quality. The price tag hasn’t been confirmed. Realme will debut the phone in Pakistan on November 8th, so we’ll find the rest of its details shortly. Keep watching the news.
