Realme held a local event on Saturday and finally debuted the Realme C85 Pro in Pakistan. It has a big battery, it’s fully waterproof, and you get a premium AMOLED here. The features are worth the price in our opinion, but the final decision is up to the buyer. Read all of its specs below and see if it fits your requirements.
The biggest highlight and most talked-about point with the Realme C85 Pro was its 7000mAh battery. That’s the first in the Realme C lineup. It’s a Si/C cell, so it didn’t really affect the phone’s thickness. Realme C75 and C85 Pro have nearly identical designs and depth.
The “Pro” moinker is new, though. This is also the first time they installed an AMOLED on a C-class device. And it’s not just any budget AMOLED; the screen is quite premium and hits 4000 nits local peak brightness. The panel size is 6.8” with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1080p FHD+ resolution.
The chipset doesn’t exactly hit the mark, and the standard they set with the phone’s price. Snapdragon 685 is quite old, and it didn’t have impressive specs to begin with. Its Cortex A73 CPU cores at 2.8GHz make the Realme new C model usable, but the GPU performance will suffer. If you are a gamer, steer clear.
Camera hardware includes a 50MP main shooter with Autofocus, plus an LED flash. It supports HDR. On the flip side, we have an 8MP selfie shooter in a punch hole, and it can do 1080p 30FPS videos. There’s a single loudspeaker on this phone.
Realme C85 Pro doesn’t have a 3.5mm audio port, and it’s for a good reason. The durability and waterproof design reach an IP69K standard. Realme calls it IP69 Pro water resistance, which keeps the phone safe at depths of about 6m for 30 minutes. Military-grade shockproof design is also a part of this package.
Realme UI 6 comes by default on this handset. AI Outdoor and AI Edit Genie have been added to the OS. And that 7000mAh battery we talked about, it’s rechargeable at 45W. Realme drops two C85 versions in Pakistan. The 8/128GB trim costs Rs 59,999, and the 8/256GB option is just a notch above at Rs 62,999.
