Realme 15 Series Will Let You Edit Photos by Voice with “AI Edit Genie”

Every year, Realme brings something new and imaginative to its numbered series. It was the color-changing cold-reactive design last year, and now the brand is whipping up a new AI feature for the Realme 15 series, which will make photo editing much more convenient and intuitive.

Realme 15 and 15 Pro dropped their first teaser about a week ago. That’s when we found the focus for this duo is mostly on AI features. The company has touted the lineup again now to comment on one of its main AI tools, which is called “AI Edit Genie.”

The slogan in the teaser, “Say it, Edit it,” describes the concept pretty well. This is an AI image editing tool that operates on voice commands alone to let you edit the photos. If you thought Samsung, Pixel, and iPhone’s “Select Edit” feature was ground-breaking, one can only imagine the convenience the AI Edit Genie could bring the users.

On paper, the feature sounds miraculous with an apt name. You can make a wish to this AI Edit Genie to Smoothen my skin, add a cinematic filter, or remove the photobomber from an image, and it will do as you command without needing a touch input. For those curious about experiencing this tech, check the Realme price catalog to explore models packed with this AI magic.

Of course, there’s always a chance that it could turn out to be a gimmick more than a reliable tool for quick photo edits. So don’t get your hopes up just yet. We’ll wait for the reviews to comment on this feature once the lineup has debuted in the global market.

Just like every other smartphone brand on the planet, Realme is also becoming more inclusive toward AI. The Edit Genie is one of the many tools the Realme 15 duo plans to offer, but the details are pretty scarce at the moment. The initial teasers did confirm that most of its AI tools are geared toward photography and image editing.

As for the other details, we found Realme 15 Pro and 15’s storage options in a leak. We may see the Pro variant with 8GB or 12GB of RAM, with up to 512GB of storage on the high-end. There’s a chance that the base model will offer similar options. Both devices are coming out in a few days, so stay tuned for their specs breakdown, availability, and pricing.
