Realme 15 series is bound to welcome a new member on September 2nd. The lineup already contains two devices: the vanilla Realme 15 and the 15 Pro. On Tuesday this week, “Realme 15T” will join the existing group with an iPhone-esque design, officially teased on the brand’s website and socials.
Realme 15T, the budget newcomer, is supposed to launch in India first. That’s the region where the product listing first appeared. It will eventually arrive in more countries, but we should wait for Realme to put it on record. As for the device itself, you can see what it looks like in the renders below.
We previously heard rumors that the Realme 15T is adopting the same corner radius as the iPhones. We even saw an interface similar to Dynamic Island on its display (leaked by Digital Chat Station). After seeing the video teaser on Realme’s X profile, we can now verify all those reports.
Blatant rip-offs like this are usually frowned upon in the industry. Realme did make some changes to the design of Realme's new 5G mobile, but we doubt it will stop critics from tearing the phone down. The first obvious change is the camera island, which is easily recognizable even if you are not a tech-savvy person.
You may notice that all three lenses sit flat on the camera bump, without a separate lens protrusion. iPhones usually have a dual-ridge camera design with one bump over the other. The teaser also shows all its color options, which will be your second clue. Expect this phone in Silk Blue, Suit Titanium, and Flowing Silver skins.
Realme stresses dual 50MP AI cameras and a 7000mAh battery on this thing. Even though it’s meant to look like the iPhone 16 Pro, the phone is nowhere near as thick, measuring around 7.8mm. Its weight is close to 181 grams, which again, sounds unreal with a 7000mAh battery under its hood.
Realme 15T has a 6.57” OLED with a 4000 nits brightness. This handset is tightly sealed and rated at the IP69 standard. Plus, it’s built around a Dimensity 6400 Max chip. Sadly, the phone is stuck with the older Android 15 system. We’ll cover the Realme 15T in depth once it debuts. Keep watching the news.
