With the new Reno4 series out in Pakistan, the Oppo Reno3 from last year is getting a price cut. This camera-focused sub flagship, blends style with a sleek lightweight form factor. Not to mention its industry-leading portrait photography features. Let’s take a look.

The Oppo Reno 4's predecessor aka "Reno3" is now available for Rs. 46,999, instead of Rs. 49,999 — you can save up to Rs. 3,000. We start with a build that weighs only 170g and is 7.9mm thick.

The minimalist footprint is reflected in the polished design as well, featuring a clean half-tone back only interrupted by a compact housing for its four cameras. You can pick from the delightful Auroral Blue or the more somber Midnight Black editions.

Now on to the highlight of the Oppo Reno 3: its camera setup that uses a 48MP main camera, an 8MP wide-angle lens, a 13MP dedicated telephoto lens for zooming, and a 2MP mono sensor. You get up to 5x hybrid magnification out of the array. Plus, up to 20x digital zoom by combining three lenses. The wide-angle camera can only squeeze 109° Field-of-View into a shot, so it’s not an ultra-wide camera — although Oppo plays fast and loose with the term.

The image processing software lets you capture highly-detailed 108MP shots and the ‘Ultra Dark Mode’ has AI-powered noise reduction. The selfie camera is a high-res 44MP. The Oppo Reno3 also has electronic stabilization thanks to the ‘Ultra Steady Video 2.0’ mode. for Similarly priced handsets do see our updated Oppo price list.

The internal hardware is serviceable but the Reno3 is far from a performance beast. MediaTek’s last-gen Helio P90 processor is at the heart of the phone, paired with an 8GB + 128GB configuration. VOOC Flash Charging 3.0 fast charges the 4025 mAh battery to 100% in 73 minutes. You can max out on performance with the HyperBoost mode that presumably makes gaming more responsive and increases frame rates.

The 1080p screen reaches a decent 90.8% screen-to-body ratio, rounded off by immersive dual stereo speakers. The software experience is delivered by the ColorOS 7 running on top of Android10. Oppo Reno 3 is now available at a new price of 46,999, nationwide.
