There are more than just two Reno 15 devices in the lineup. But the extras usually peel off to a separate timeline. Reno 15 and 15 Pro are presumed to launch together on November 17 in China. The date is official, and pre-orders are open locally. Leakers report that a third variant may exist, and it could be dubbed Oppo Reno 15c.
We are short on Reno 15c’s specs so far. The leaker Digital Chat Station and Experience only hinted at its name and nothing else. It seems they are waiting for the right moment to spill the tea. Anyway, we do know from previous rumors that the Reno 15 family has a 6.32”, 6.59”, and a 6.78” model.
The smaller and the bigger screen versions are the Reno 15 and 15 Pro. That tidbit was verified by their China Telecom listings recently. The one in the middle, with the 6.59” screen, could be our suspect. Reno 15c may be the most affordable among the three.
Also, there has never been a “c” variant in the Reno family, so it’s definitely looking suspicious to the experts. We should hold off putting a label on the new handset until more sources have verified it. The leakers deserve some credit for confirming the existence of this Oppo's latest Reno mobile.
We’ve been slowly gathering details on the Reno 15 Pro. The rumor mill has been on this phone’s tail for weeks, so we have almost all of its specs. This is as close as you can get to its real spec sheet right now. The phone is built around a 6500mAh battery (reported by DCS). Its selfie camera is 50MP.
There’s also a 200MP Main shooter on the back. It’s possibly a Samsung HP5 sensor, and magnets provide OIS stability to it. 50MP ultrawide and 50MP periscope telephoto might also be a part of this setup.
The screen on the Reno 15 Pro could be a 6.78” OLED. Its resolution should be 1.5K. 120Hz seems to be the most likely display refresh rate. Also, all of this is driven by an MTK Dimensity 8450 chip. The RAM size goes up to 16GB, apparently. This handset could also bring 80W wired and 50W wireless input for the battery.
