Oppo A7 Pro and Pro Max showed up in the Chinese market a while ago, and the latter became the company’s first phone with a 10,000mAh battery. Well, both of these phones are about to debut globally, and Geekbench has laid out the internal specs for each sibling.
There is a bit of good news. They didn’t swap out the chipsets, so the Chinese and international versions should perform the same. At least that’s what we gather from the new Geekbench listings. The global Oppo A7 Pro has the model code CPH2931.
Dimensity 6360 Max is the SoC installed on the Oppo new A model. That’s a 6nm octacore chip, by the way. There’s a 2.4GHz CPU and a Mali G57 GPU. Again, the very same chipset was found on the Chinese Oppo A7 Pro as well. They tested its 8GB RAM version on Geekbench with Android 16 as the default OS.
The scores are about what you would expect from a Dimensity 6000 series chip. All you get from its single-core is 719 points, and the numbers are stretched to 2074 points on all eight cores. Then there’s the Oppo A7 Pro Max version that has slightly better test figures.
CPH2909 seems to be the model code for the Oppo A7 Pro Max, and its chipset is the QTI SM4850. The chip’s actual name is the Snapdragon 4 Gen 5. This platform also has a 2.4 GHz boost clock, but it does have a better GPU and a 4nm design.
The CPU actually outputs 834 points (single-core). And all eight cores on the SD 4 Gen 5 output 2181 points on the benchmark. The phone’s doing it with 8GB of memory, by the way, and the default OS on the Pro Max is Android 16 Color OS 16.
They may carry over the performance from their Chinese counterparts, but we doubt they’ll actually bring the same batteries: 8000mAh on the Pro, and 10,000mAh on the Pro Max. We’ll wait for an official confirmation just to be sure. Keep watching the news for more updates.
