Following on the heels of other South Asian markets, the Oppo A15 is also launching in Pakistan soon. The official product page for the entry-level phone is already up on Oppo Pakistan’s website. So the official announcement shouldn’t be far off. Here’s what Oppo's latest 4G budget phone offers.

We start with Oppo A15 design — an aspect the band rarely neglects. At 175g and 7.9mm, the A15 has a featherweight footprint. Unlike the flagship model Oppo F17, both the shell and the frame are made of plastic, available in Dynamic Black and Mystery Blue. Save for the fingerprint scanner and camera housing, Oppo A15’s backplate has a clean, uniform finish.

The chip inside the A15 is a different story altogether. The Helio P35 belongs to the old 2018 generation of MediaTek chips. Because of its outmoded entry-level chipset, the A15 has a similarly dated microUSB 2.0 interface. The build also includes a 3.5mm headphone jack and a microSD card slot for (up to 256GB) storage expansion.

Overall, the handset is a nice entry-level with an affordable Oppo mobile price tag. The handset is all hooked up to a 4230 mAh battery with 10W charging support. The previous-gen ColorOS 7.2, based on Android10, powers the Oppo A15.

The screen on the A15 by Oppo has a thick chin and a teardrop notch. We’re looking at a 6.52” IPS LCD panel that peaks at 720p and 60Hz. The notch contains a narrow, low-res 5MP f/2.4 camera.

The rear camera features a 13MP f/2.2 main, a 2MP macro lens, and a 2MP depth sensor. The image-processing supports portrait, night, and HDR modes. WhatMobile expects the Oppo A15 3GB Variant to start anywhere from Rs. 22,999 to 25999 PKR.
