Oppo A15s Price in Pakistan (Coming Soon); Leaked in an Official Teaser Poster And Certified in More Countries

Now that smartphone manufacturers have already wrapped up their flagship releases, they are ending the year with budget phones. Vivo is doing it with their Y-series and Samsung with the Galaxy A and M series. Oppo is hopping on the trend as well. The entry-level Oppo A15, which came out in October this year, is getting refreshed soon. Its new A15s edition has secured approvals from several certification agencies.

Malaysia’s SIRIM, Singapore’s IMDA, and the European EEC authorities recently signed off on the Oppo A15s — all pointing to a global launch before December ends. Plus, the official promotional teaser for the phone has allegedly leaked online.

The poster was published by folks over at TheLeaker, alongside its expected specifications. At a glance, the Oppo A15s looks virtually indistinguishable from the Oppo A15.

Only the internals have been mildly refreshed. Instead of 2GB/3GB of memory and 32GB of storage, the Oppo A15s gives you a 4GB/64GB expandable configuration. No word on Oppo price or the chipset details yet, but it would make sense for the higher-end edition to run on a faster chipset (since its competitors from Xiaomi have newer, more powerful ones). For context, the A15 features MediaTek Helio P35 that came out in early 2019.

The triple camera system and the screen remain unchanged. The Oppo A15s also has a 6.52” IPS LCD display, with a notch on top and a standard 720P resolution. Flip the phone over to find the LED flash and three camera lenses in a matrix layout.

This array is LED by a 13MP primary camera, next to a pair of 2MP sensors to pad the camera count. The front camera is a modest 5MP. WhatMobile puts its expected price around 28,999.
