One UI 9.5 First UI Images Appear in Leak; Here’s How It Looks

One UI 9 hasn’t even rolled out yet, but there’s already plenty of commotion on the internet around One UI 9.5. We’ve seen a bunch of screenshots of this test firmware on the Samsung Galaxy S26. A leak was found today that featured a couple more examples of One UI 9.5’s actual user interface.

Fahad Ali Javed strikes again with a new leak on One UI 9.5, but this time, it’s not the firmware code or the System information screenshot. He actually cracked into the user interface and released a bunch of photos on X. These are the elements they intend to change.

Pointing out the obvious here, this new One UI 9 system looks a lot like iOS 26. There doesn’t seem to be a Liquid Glass effect everywhere. It’s not on the bottom tabs or the new volume sliders, but there’s certainly more frosted glass in the default widgets.

Again, the padding around the bottom tabs will certainly remind you of iOS 26. There’s more 3D depth in the element that Graphic designers usually achieve by gradients. Actually, Google’s updated YouTube interface has a close resemblance to One UI 9.5.

They are not pushing it as far as some Chinese OEMs are doing, but Samsung is going after the iOS look. These are just a couple of screenshots to illustrate the theme of One UI 9.5. They’ll definitely have more changes in the system, which we won’t discover until the official debut of this firmware on the Galaxy S27.

By the way, One UI 9.5 will possibly show up earlier on the Galaxy S26 (vs. One UI 8.5 on the Galaxy S25). The standard One UI 9.0 version of the update is also being expedited, and it has almost reached the end of its beta testing. They’ll soon start Galaxy S25’s beta trials for One UI 9. Keep watching the news for more updates.
