Apple has picked some exciting new colors for the upcoming iPhone 17 series. We recently came across a leak that gave away all the possible colors to be debuted with this year’s lineup. The iPhone 17 has six, the iPhone 17 Air has four, and the iPhone 17 Pro has up to five color options. The source of this leak also shared renders for a preview.
We found the new set of renders on Weibo, originally posted by the leaker called Instant Digital. These images should give you an idea of the color palette Apple has chosen for its new devices. As you can tell by looking at the renders, the base iPhone 17 has the largest collection.
We have a mix of old and new colors on the iPhone 17, with Green, Purple, and Light Blue as the most vibrant paint jobs in the collection. It has three other options on Black, White, and Steel Grey, but these are likely for people who prefer muted tones on their handsets.
Just as described in a previous leak, the Apple iPhone new model's color palette consists entirely of dull tones. But it’s probably for the best, as Apple intends to launch it as a niche and hyper enthusiast phone. You will find the Air in Black, Light Gold, Light Blue, and Black finishes.
Instant Digital said that the iPhone 17 Air doesn’t have a big enough battery to last a full day. It doesn’t exceed the 3000mAh limit. But, for those who would still consider buying the Slim phone, a special power-saving mode is set to launch with this device. That should help your phone cover a significant portion of the day with light usage.
There were no colors in the leak for the iPhone 17 Pro Max, but the leaker did show five new options for the standard iPhone 17 Pro. Dark Blue and Orange are two colors that stand out the most in our opinion. There are others as well, but they maintain the classic tones.
We are likely going to see the iPhone 17 Pro bring back the Black, White, and Grey shades. Each color is supposed to unify the appearance with the new Liquid Glass theme on iOS 26. There are more leaks on the horizon just like this one, so make sure to stick around and find out the latest on WhatMobile news.
