Infinix Hot 10 — the newest 'budget gaming' phone from the pocket-friendly Infinix is here, available in three variants and up for pre-orders on a discounted price till 31st of October. We’re gonna take a look at it.

The chipset at the Infinix Hot 10's heart and the software that powers it is the foremost feature duo for a performance-first phone. This value pick has MediaTek’s best-in-tier Helio G70 Gaming processor, split into eight cores and augmented with the HyperEngine Game technology.

The Hot 10 promises a big leap in performance over its previous generation, combined with manufacturer’s Game Mode optimization to make your gameplay snappier, more immersive. Better frame rate, lesser power consumption.

Speaking of power, the battery capacity is the same 5,200 mAh on all three variants including the Infinix Hot 10 6GB Edition, which should make for decent all-day battery life. But there is no fast charging support. A 3.5mm headphone jack is present, made surround-like with DTS audio processing.

For visuals, the Hot 10 display is a big 6.78” panel, reaching a standard HD+ resolution. Following Infinix’s typical design language, the bezels are pushed to the far edges, leaving plenty of uninterrupted screen real-estate — save for a hole-punch that’s carved into the panel’s corner.

Unlike its higher-end counterparts, this budget gaming phone doesn’t have a quirky ‘gamer’ aesthetic. The Hot edition won't secure much out of 10 as the design itself is generic and recycled. The plastic back has a plain textured glossy finish to it, four cameras embedded in a thin cube, and a capacitive fingerprint scanner. It’s painted in a vibrant color palette featuring half-tone cyan, cherry red, deep blue, and bright silver.

The optics system on Infinix Hot 10 is entry-level: a main 16MP camera, a pair of macro and bokeh lenses, and a space-filler AI lens. The front camera is 8MP. It comes with a super night view mode, document mode, and AI beautification.

The handsets can be pre-ordered on a discount till 31st of October, the lowest-end 4GB + 64GB variant starts from Rs. 19,999 and the 6GB + 128GB configuration is Rs. 24,999. With each pre-order, Infinix is throwing in free gifts — either wireless buds or the Smart Band 4. All three hot 10 variants will hit the stores on September 28.
