Galaxy S27 Pro to Share DNA with S27 Ultra; Leak Reveals Screen Size & Camera Details

We are used to seeing three devices in the main lineup, and the Galaxy S series is always pretty easy to comprehend because of that. But that may not be the case next year, since rumors speak of a fourth device called the Samsung Galaxy S27 Pro. New leaks seem to confirm important details about this handset.

No one’s asking for more variety in the series, so why the fourth category? Well, this newcomer has a smaller size. That is one difference. We hear reports that the Galaxy S27 Pro has a 6.47” screen (allegedly). Of course, it’s bigger than Galaxy S27 or smaller than the S27 Plus.

We assume that they won’t change any of the other siblings’ screen sizes, but there’s a big asterisk at the end of that sentence. By the way, the sources keep calling the fourth model a mini Galaxy S27 Ultra. The former reports said that the S27 Pro has all the same hardware as the Ultra without the S Pen. It might also have a smaller battery.

We were looking for more clues on the web, and that’s when we came across a leak from Ice Universe. It had more context and a contradiction to the older leaks. It looks like there’s another big difference between the Ultra and the Pro besides the missing S Pen and smaller battery/screen. Here is a quick overview of Samsung mobile prices across popular Samsung lineups in Pakistan.

The Pro only has three cameras and no extra telephoto sensor. Yes, this newcomer does carry the same main and ultrawide lenses as the S27 Ultra. They both use new outsoles next year; hurrah for the upgrades. But the telephoto situation is a bit different on the Pro.

The leaker said that the S27 Ultra has a 50MP 3.5x telephoto ALoP sensor, but the same cannot be found on the S27 Pro. We don’t know exactly if the latter has something better or worse for zoom optics. Anyway, many sources still advise the smaller S27 to have a 6.27” screen.

The AMOLED on the Ultra is 6.89,” and the S27 Plus is keeping the 6.66” panel. They might round those figures to 6.3, 6.7, and 6.9 inches as they always have. Galaxy S27 Pro obviously needs more research. The good news is that we have plenty of time. Keep watching the news for updates.
