Extensive Samsung Galaxy S21 FE Leak Uncovers Official Marketing Images, Spec Sheet, and More

Samsung Galaxy S21 Fan Edition was supposed to launch in the fall of this year, however, the release was put off until 2022. Despite the delays, the S21 FE kept appearing in piecemeal reports and rumors. But Samsung has been having a hard time curtailing leaks recently. Right on the heels of the big S22 Ultra photo that made rounds on the internet, a publication has leaked everything you need to know about the upcoming Fan Edition phone.

CoinBRS published a series of marketing and press images featuring the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 5G. Their report also includes the detailed specification list and the launch timeline. Here’s what we’ve learned.

Based on region, Samsung Galaxy S21 FE will be available with either the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 or the Exynos 2100. Both chipsets are cutting-edge flagship platforms, but Samsung’s Exynos has a history of coming up short.  The chips are combined with 12GB of memory and 256GB of built-in storage. The baseline version uses 6GB of RAM.

Next, let’s talk design of the latest 2022 Samsung mobile. The S21 Fan Edition rocks the same one-piece camera plate that seamlessly melts into its frame. But instead of contrasting accents, the FE is painted in a single, even matte tone. The chassis is curved, the bezel slim, and the hole punch sits right in the middle. You can pick from four color options — White, lavender, Mint, and Black.

The display is 6.4” AMOLED, 1080P, and operates on a dynamic 120Hz refresh rate. Hidden under this display is a fingerprint scanner (likely of the ultrasonic variety.) A layer of Gorilla Glass protects the S21 FE.

The three rear cameras use wide, ultra-wide, and portrait lenses. The wide camera has a 64MP sensor behind it. Selfies are taken with a 32MP front camera — all running Samsung’s unique camera features.

Everything runs on a 4500 mAh battery and 15W charging. Although the Android 12 powered OneUI 4 is out, Samsung ships the S21 FE with the last-gen Android 11. It’s slated for launch on Jan 4, 2022.
