With the launch allegedly due in two weeks, the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge is surfacing in new leaks every few days, especially the renders and live images. We even saw a hands-on video featuring the S25 Edge on X recently. Today, the device reappears on the web, breaking down its design even further.
An official-looking photo was added to X by an infamous Samsung leaker, Evan Blass, who gets into the S25 Edge design in meticulous detail and drops clues about the placement of individual elements. This is what we learned from the leaked image.
The image by Evan Blass shows the device both from the front and back. The first thing you’ll notice is the razor-sharp bezels around S25 Edge’s screen. The black border is extremely thin and barely noticeable, which makes for an impressive screen-to-body ratio.
Of course, there’s a front camera inside a small punch hole, and the right edge is where the company mounts a power key and a volume rocker. Its USB/Charging port is at the bottom center, and the new Samsung edge mobile leaves room on the side for a speaker grille, a mic, and a SIM tray.
This device has a secondary microphone as well, probably for noise cancellation, resting at the top. There are two cameras on the back and a flash LED enclosed within the same extruded island. Galaxy S25 Edge has rounded corners and flat edges similar to the other S25 variants.
It wouldn’t be wrong to call the S25 Edge a novelty smartphone since it’s the only device the company has that measures 5.84mm thin. This device is meant to be an experiment and an inspiration for the future, where every Galaxy device will be just as slim and comfortable to hold.
Sadly, the way Samsung has positioned this device, both in terms of price and availability, Galaxy S25 Edge could remain an enthusiast phone without any significant demand from the average user.
It is believed that the phone might cost between €1200 and €1400. This slim device will probably go official in China and Korea with limited stock before reaching other markets. As for the phone’s launch date, expect the Galaxy S25 Edge to go official via an online launch event on May 13th.
