Xiaomi Redmi 12 Due for Launch in the Next Two Weeks; Tipster Reveals Price & Timeline

People in the leak circle are all acquainted with the name “Xiaomi Redmi 12.” The device has been making headlines non-stop for the past few weeks, and the latest development has revealed that its design embraces similarities to the iPhone 14 Pro. Here’s everything we have gathered so far. 

According to renowned tipster Paras Guglani, in collaboration with NewzOnly, the Redmi 12’s highlight will be its enticing price. The base variant, offering 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, is anticipated to carry an approximate price tag of $155 (~PKR 44,500). 

Excitingly, the marvelous Redmi 12 is to become official globally within the next ten days, says Guglani. The tipster also reveals the Redmi 12 features three attractive color options: Blue, Black, and Silver. Users will find them labeled as Sky Blue, Midnight Black, and Polar Silver.

Allegedly, Redmi 12 boasts an expansive 6.79-inch LCD, delivering a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 × 2400 pixels. With a centered punch-hole notch and a buttery smooth 90Hz refresh rate, the Xiaomi new flagship model will bear a lightning-fast response rate.

Under the hood, the Redmi 12 is speculated with the MediaTek Helio G88 chipset, offering commendable performance alongside the Mali G52 GPU. With variants available in either 4GB or 8GB of RAM and storage options ranging from 128GB to 256GB, expandable storage through a microSD card slot is also possible.

Another high point of the device will be its 50MP primary shooter, backed by an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, a 2MP auxiliary sensor, and an LED flash. The selfie snapper on the front encapsulates an 8MP sensor. Fueling the Redmi 12 is a robust 5000mAh battery rated for 18W charging.
