Under the hood, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chip powers the device, complemented by LPDDR4x RAM and UFS 2.2 storage. Enriching the user experience is the Android 13-based MIUI 14.

For Photography, it features a 50MP primary camera, accompanied by a 2MP macro snapper and an 8MP selfie shooter. Connectivity is robust, offering dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.3, GNSS, and a MicroSD card slot. Additional features include a 3.5mm headphone jack, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, and an IR blaster.

A generous 5,000mAh battery fuels the Redmi 12 5G, supported by 18W charging input. Regarding prices, the starter 6GB variant is going for ~$135 (~PKR 38,500), and the highest 8GB variant will cost up to ~$180 (~PKR 51,500).
