Xiaomi Mi Note 10 Lite Gets Signed Off by FCC; Features a Penta-Camera and a Snapdragon 730G Chip

Xiaomi introduced the ‘Lite’ edition to the Xiaomi Mi 10 series last week, and it is now following up the Xiaomi Mi Note 10 lineup with a ‘Lite’ variant too. The Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro was famously the world’s first flagship to debut with a 108MP sensor. The alleged Xiaomi Mi Note 10 Lite has already been leaked in an FCC listing that details its key specifications.

The leak comes from a tweet by the phone leaker @Sudhanshu1414, who reports that the Xiaomi Mi Note 10 Lite bears the model number M2002F4LG and is powered by a Snapdragon 730G platform and a robust 5,260 mAh battery with support for 30W fast charging. There will be two different memory options to pick from, although the leak doesn’t specify them.

In a similar vein to its ‘Pro’ sibling, the Xiaomi Mi Note 10 Lite also features a camera-centric build -- at least that’s what we’d surmise from its Penta-camera setup.

The main camera has a 64MP lens behind it, and it is coupled with two 8MP shooters (one of them an ultra-wide-angle lens and the other a telephoto module, if we were to venture an educated guess), a 5MP camera and a 2MP sensor. The front camera is downgraded from a 32MP shooter to a 16MP one.

The ’Lite’ edition lops off the laser auto-focus that the standard Mi Note 10 featured, but it runs on an upgraded Android-10-powered MIUI 11 and a lower Xiaomi price tag.

According to XDA Developers, its display stretches 6.47 inches across and curves around the edges with a waterdrop notch that extends into it. The screen itself is an OLED panel, and it delivers an FHD+ resolution and a 19:9 aspect ratio. The launch schedule for the device hasn’t been shared yet, but given that FCC has signed off on it, its launch shouldn’t be far off.
