Xiaomi Mi 11 and Mi 11 Pro Specs and Images Leaked: Design, Battery, and Fast Charging

Popular phone leakers, DigitalChatStation and IceUniverse, have reported that the Xiaomi Mi 11 series is coming before December ends. The alleged front panel of the phone has already leaked. And yesterday, a battery certification for the Mi 11 series and its protective cases surfaced online.

The Xiaomi Mi 11 Pro & Mi 11 certification document was found on the Chinese 3C database. It lists the battery details, revealing a split-cell design. Batteries that support unusually high fast-charging rates are engineered as two halves. Inside the Xiaomi Mi 11, the dual-cell battery is made of 2485 mAh and 2390 mAh units — featuring a combined capacity of roughly 5000 mAh.

DigitalChatStation — who first discovered the documentation — predicts that the Xiaomi Mi 11 will fast-charge over 55W. This technology can fully charge the dual-cell battery in 35 minutes. Plus, the newly-announced Snapdragon 888 chipset is reportedly debuting with the Mi 11 series.

As for the leaked protective covers, they showcase both the Mi Phones i.e. Mi 11 and Mi 11 Pro. The base variant has soft edges and corners. And a rounded camera plate in the corner with three cameras — inspired by the iPhone 11.

But, Mi 11 Pro’s camera island stretches across the back of the phone. Think of a typical boxy design, but flipped horizontally instead. POCO M3 recently introduced a similar design.

Inside this bump, four cameras are embedded. A closer look reveals that a module on the far right is a periscope-style lens. We’ll keep you posted as the story develops.
