Xiaomi 14 Pro Emerges on Geekbench; Key Stats Unveiled Ahead of the Launch Event

The Chinese tech giant is all set to host a grand launch event in China on October 26, promising an exciting lineup of new devices, including the highly-anticipated Xiaomi 14 series. Adding to the pre-launch buzz, the Xiaomi 14 Pro has made a fresh cameo on Geekbench to showcase its features.


The listing, under model number 23116PN5BC, reveals intriguing details about the flagship Xiaomi 14 Pro. It boasts a motherboard codenamed “Shennong,” hosting a powerhouse of an engine. The SoC has two cores clocked at 2.27GHz, another two at 2.296GHz, three ticking at 3.15GHz, and a prime core sprinting at 3.30GHz.

All the evidence points towards the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, set for an official debut in the coming week. The smartphone impressively packs 16GB of RAM, with the possibility of additional variants at launch. Operating on the foundation of Android 14, it features Xiaomi's custom HyperOS.


In Geekbench's rigorous tests, the new Xiaomi 5G mobile flexed its muscles by scoring 2,150 in the single-core test and an impressive 6,892 in the multi-core test, hinting at top-tier performance.


Leaked renders of the Xiaomi 14 Pro have revealed a boxy design with a substantial square camera module housing four sensors. Notably, it's confirmed to sport a Leica Summilux lens, promising upgraded photography compared to its predecessors. 

Additional perks include an IP68 dust and water-resistant rating, Dolby Vision support, and Hi-Res Wireless Audio certification. It's getting harder to contain the excitement with the nearing launch. The Xiaomi 14 series will crossover to the real world on Thursday, so mark your calendars.
