Vivo Y02s Pakistani Debut Inches Closer; Helio P35, IPS LCD, 5000mAh Battery, and more

With the Vivo Y02s just becoming official in the Philippines, it’s safe to assume that the phone’s Pakistani launch is closer than ever. Based on the brand’s typical debut calendar, Y02s should cross over to the subcontinent soon. The phone’s feature to price value will appeal to many users nationwide. Have a look.

As Vivo’s Y-family member, Y02s got global on par with the new Vivo Y21 4G's successor called the Y22, or its siblings the Y22s, Y02, Y16, and Y01a. All of these feature somewhat resembling specs, starting with the front array on Y02s. The phone brings a 6.51-inch IPS display, a reasonable 720p resolution (720 x 1600 Pixels), and a 60Hz refresh rate.

Though the bezels seem chunky, the phone retains an 82.1% screen-to-body ratio, 2.5D glass, and 270 PPI. The V-notch up top carries a 5MP sensor for selfies. With a limited cost, Y02s brings 3+32Gigs memory config rounded with Multiturbo and Ultra-game mode for a quality user experience.

Under the hull lies a MediaTek Helio P35 chip hooked up to a 5000mAh cell. Though the chip is mediocre, the phone has an Optimized Funtouch Android 12 Skin for smooth day-to-day operation. Y02s recharges the phone at 10W using a Type-C cable. Extras include GPS, Bluetooth 5.0, PowerVR GPU, Dual-band WiFi, and Expandable storage.

Moving on to its back, you will find an accented glossy area with two lenses sticking out of the shell directly. Circular rims around the lenses endow this phone with a premium aesthetic. Design apart, cameras don’t have much going for them specs-wise. Lenses carry a primary 8MP sensor and a Flashlight individually.

Bonus design features include a frosted matte finish, scratch resistance, anti-smudge coating, and flat edges for extra grip. Y02s will ship in two colorways; Vibrant Blue or Fluorite Black. The expected starting price should not be more than 30,000PKR.
