Exclusive: Vivo X80 5G Launching in Pakistan Today; Pre-orders to Follow Soon After

Vivo is all set to launch its new top-of-the-line smartphone in Pakistan today. The X80 5G got globally available in May, but they are already official in the Chinese market with advanced specifications, and state-of-the-art hardware that promises excellent photo quality, just like the Vivo X70 lineup.


In terms of design, The Vivo X80 5G relies on the same visual language as the X Note. The manufacturer started using a large camera module that houses the lenses co-engineered with ZEISS. the handset brings different finishing material options on the back.

The Vivo X80 is equipped with a powerful 6.78-inch AMOLED E5 screen with curved edges, Full HD+ resolution (2400 x 1080 pixels), and a 120 Hz refresh rate. There is a fingerprint reader under the display and a punch-hole cut out on the front for the phone's 32 MP (f/2.45) selfie shooter.


Moving on to the X80's highlight, we have the main camera with a 50 MP Sony IMX886 sensor with optical stabilization (OIS), wide lens aperture (f/1.75), and RGBW technology. Vivo has now extended the black-light night vision to the ultra-wide-angle lens and front snapper, making the X80 instantly to be a powerful night vision device.

There's also a 12MP Sony IMX663 wide-angle lens with f/2.0 aperture and a 2x optical zoom telephoto camera with a 12MP sensor that delivers portrait mode shots thanks to the auxiliary depth sensor.


Carrying a premium Vivo mobile price tag, the new smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9000, one of the most advanced processors on the market today that integrates an ARM Mali-G710 MC10 GPU and options of 12GB of LPDDR5x RAM (+4GB Extended) with 252GB of UFS 3.1 storage.

To power the internals, we have a 4,500 mAh battery with support for 80 watts of fast charging. The Vivo X80 will leave the factory running Android 12 with Funtouch 12 OS on top.

The Vivo X80 will be available for pre-order after the launch today at 7:30 PM. Arriving in three color options with varying materials — Black (frosted glass), Orange (vegan leather), and green (ceramic), the handset is expected to start anywhere between Rs. 155,000 to 159,999 PKR.
