Having launched the Vivo V25 5G and V25e, The Chinese manufacturer seems to be prepping for yet another mid-ranger to join the brand's endless parade of smartphones. Lately, the leaks about an affordable lite variant of Vivo's popular X80 flagship have been turning some heads around. The latest leak claims to have exposed the specs and design of the X80 Lite. Let's take a look.

Firstly, the renders presented in the leak suggest the Vivo X80 lite is just a spin-off of the V25 5G. The frame shape, drop-notch camera design, and screen size are all identical. Rebranding into X80 lite might be Vivo's attempt to bring the V25 to a global audience since it is only available in Asian markets.

Talking about the specs, it has a 5G-enabled Dimensity 900 chipset at the helm, with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. The phone will welcome you to an Android 12 x FunTouch home screen. And it plugs into a 4500mAh battery to boot.

X80 Lite cameras will consist of 64MP OIS primary, 8MP ultra-wide secondary, and 2MP auxiliary sensors. An extruded shiny platform holds the lenses. The new addition to the Vivo rate list for selfies uses a one-of-a-kind 50MP F/2.0 aperture camera.

Moving to the front side, X80 Lite has a stunning 6.44-inch corner-to-corner spread AMOLED screen that boasts a 1080p FHD+ resolution. The face has a drop notch upfront that melts nicely into the screen. Along with the selfie cam, the screen hides an underlying fingerprint scanner.

X80 Lite will probably bring Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, Dual SIM support, and USB Type-C with 44W charging support. By the looks of it, the launch seems imminent in Global Market; if so, the launch price might be around PKR 100,000 (EUR 450).
