The official promotional campaign for the Vivo X70 series kicked off today, following a string of leaks and rumors. Vivo has already published the first teasers on its website. The landing card on Vivo China’s webpage features sneak previews and the release timeline.
Vivo X70 series, featuring the X70, X70 Pro, and the X70 Pro+, is slated to debut on September 9. The event, presumably a virtual one, starts at 4:30 p.m. PKT. Any details relevant to the global release of this lineup are being kept under wraps for now. But credible sources inform WhatMobile that the Vivo X70 Pro is coming to Pakistan soon after its launch. It's unclear yet if the standard X70 will be joining the Pro".
The Vivo X70 Pro sports a glass shell. The plate is finished in the so-called AG iridescent design, but Vivo will also offer the flagship in a muted, more elegant black shade. All in all, not at all different from the previous-gen X60 Pro.
The camera island of the upcoming addition to the Vivo price list has gone through a radical redesign, however. The X70 Pro has a squared-off plate with ZEISS branding on top. Four lenses and an LED flash are arranged inside it. Vivo is stepping up the Pro’s optics system with a periscope-telephoto lens this season.
To minimize unwanted flare, the housing is covered in the ZEISS T* coating. Plus, the next-gen Gimbal Stabilization 3.0 delivers excellent night shots and shake-free videos.
The screen is a 6.5” panel, flanked on all sides by a small bezel. It’s an E5 display that refreshes at a smooth 120Hz. The selfie lens, in the shape of an O-hole dot, is embedded in the center. MediaTek Dimensity 1200V and OriginOS power the X70 Pro.
