Vivo V80 Official Teaser Drops; Coming Soon with Fresh Design and Massive Battery

Vivo V80 is definitely on the way, and the new teaser shows exactly what it looks like. The new promo video said it will deliver cinematic moments. There was no official launch date in that clip. But the handset is coming soon, reportedly in the first week of October. This is everything you need to know.

They’ve been teasing the Vivo V80 in India, by the way. The promo in question was found on the company’s local X account in the region. And they gave up its design right at the end of the clip. We only got a partial view. But that was more than enough to build an image.

The camera layout is a ditto copy of the iPhone 17 Pro. The lenses sit on a horizontal bar this time. And it has the very same Orange color. It even has the familiar corner radius. It’s not a plastic build. They’ve probably made the chassis out of Aluminum Alloy again.

We do see an antenna ring on the side. We didn’t see much else in the teaser, but the leakers have kept an eye on the device and have some clues about its specs. Vivo latest V mobile potentially has the biggest battery in the V series so far, other than the V80 Lite (global)

A new leak said it’s built around a 7200mAh cell, which could make it a two-day runner for an average user. Origin OS 7 is also about to debut with Android 17, which means the new OS should be available on the Vivo V80 by the time it’s out.

Apparently, they’ve put some new software features on the camera this time. Vivo V80 could have AI Creative Camera with 30+ AI effects. We assume it’s some sort of AI filter. Then there’s a Live Sticker Collage tool. The third one is a new Night Portrait 2.0 mode.

We have had leaks in the past that advised a Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chip inside the V80. That’s exactly the same as the current V70. Camera hardware may not change either. The teasers should reveal more in the coming days. Keep watching the news.
