Vivo V60 will soon be unveiled, possibly in the next month. The exact launch date remains a mystery, though it’s only a matter of days before it’s officially confirmed. The company has already started the teaser campaign for the Vivo V60, which means the launch must be right around the corner.
Vivo has just updated its website with a dedicated product page for the Vivo V60, where we found the first official preview of the device. We had only seen this newcomer in leaked renders before, and those were right on the money. It steals the design from the China-exclusive Vivo S30, but with a few unexpected modifications.
As you can see in the images, the Vivo V60 has a more rounded design and a quad-curve screen. The edges are beveled, which looks thinner and more premium than the S30. There are razor-thin borders around the display that are almost unnoticeable. And the panel has a small punch hole cutout.
The camera layout for the Vivo's latest V model has been borrowed from the original S30: two main lenses isolated into a pill-shaped island, and a third one placed right beside them. The exact specs weren’t given on the official page, but we do know for a fact that one of the cameras can do 100X zoom.
The ZEISS logo around the lenses means the V60 camera gear has been co-engineered with the German camera company. It’s symbolic of Vivo’s premium devices. The visual representation and early expressions show that the Vivo V60 is very thin, but the company still squeezed in a 6500mAh battery inside it.
We also found its color options, among other official details. The Vivo V60 is supposed to retail in Auspicious Gold, Moonlit Blue, and Mist Gray shades. As far as early previews go, this is more than we could expect from Vivo. But we have to wait for more teasers to verify the rest of the details.
The phone’s launch date should also appear as the campaign progresses. However, we did come across some leaks claiming August 12th or 19th to be the date of Vivo V60’s debut. We’ll let you know once we have the official word. Stick around for further updates.
