Vivo might release the V60 in a couple of weeks. Latest reports claim that its debut is set for August 19th, and it could be the first Vivo model outside China to have the OriginOS skin. We have also found some renders that allegedly belong to the Vivo V60, and here’s what it looks like.
The design may look familiar to some of you. We have seen this look before on Vivo X200 FE, which, by the way, just launched in the Pakistani market. It’s not exactly a one-to-one replica, since the V60 is a mid-range phone and the X200 FE is a flagship.
Vivo V60 is supposed to be the international twin of Vivo’s S30, with the same design except for the ZEISS mark on the camera module. The renders provided by Yogesh Brar show the V60 design in Auspicious Gold and Moonlit Blue colors. There’s a third option called “Mist Grey,” but we have yet to find it in leaks.
The rumor mill believes Vivo's flagship new model could feature the same specs as the China-exclusive Vivo S30, but its cameras are designed in collaboration with ZEISS to appeal to global users. Usually, Vivo borrows ZEISS color science, filters, and the “T” coating on the lens, all to make the photos more dynamic and color-rich.
The rest of the hardware on the Vivo V60 might be borrowed from the original S30, if the rumors are true. That means it could have the same 6.67” AMOLED on the front with 1.5k resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. It could also bring a Diamond Shield Glass and a 1300 nits peak brightness.
The camera gear might include 50MP (Main), 50MP (Periscopic Telephoto), 8MP (Ultrawide), and a 50MP (selfie) shooter. This handset will support Android 15 or 16 out of the box, and the processor inside could be a Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 with an Adreno 722 GPU.
As for the battery, we might get a 6500mAh cell on the Vivo V60 wired to a 90W fast charging kit. There’s still some time before the company makes the final announcement, so stay tuned for more leaks and the potential teaser spree that might begin any day now.
