Vivo V60 Pushes Closer to Launch with Another Certification Secured

Vivo V60 has been making headlines left and right on the internet recently. It’s due for a launch soon, and leading up to it, we have found a couple of certification listings for this device. The latest one comes from TDRA, which means the UAE will be one of the first regions to welcome the V60. Here are the details we found.

TDRA mentions the phone title “Vivo V60” right next to its model number, “V2511.” Curiously, we have seen these numbers before on Malaysia’s SIRIM, Singapore’s IMDA, and Indonesia’s TKDN platforms. It was also seen on the Rheinland TUV certification with an indication of its charging speed.

TUV confirms a 90W charging power on this phone, which is the same input speed as the Vivo S30. Geekbench tested the newcomer with a Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chip and 8GB RAM. Not only that, but we also fund some of its renders in a leak. All signs point to the Vivo V60 being a rebranded Vivo S30.

From everything we know about this device so far, the Vivo new flagship model could feature the same specs as the China-exclusive Vivo S30, but its cameras might have the ZEISS treatment. That means Vivo has borrowed the camera company’s color science, filters, and the “T” coating on the lens for better photography.

The rest of the hardware on the Vivo V60 is just the same as the original S30. We might find the newcomer with a similar 6.67” AMOLED on the front with 1.5k resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. It could also bring a Diamond Shield Glass and a 1300 nits peak brightness.

The camera gear might include a 50MP main lens. The other sensors are probably the 50MP Periscopic Telephoto, an 8MP Ultrawide, and a 50MP selfie snapper. This handset will support Android 15 out of the box, not the latest version 16. The processor inside will be a Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 with an Adreno 722 GPU.

There should be a 6500mAh cell on the Vivo V60, and users will be able to plug that into a 90W adapter. We still have a few weeks before the V60 makes its debut in August, so stay tuned for further details on the phone’s availability and pricing in the global market.
