Vivo V60 goes official in Pakistan after a short teaser spree. It’s only available in two colors, instead of the usual five in the global market. All of its specs and details have been revealed through a dedicated microsite. The pre-orders start tomorrow, September 24th, and the sales commence on the 30th. Here’s all you need to know about the Vivo V60 5G.
This phone has a slim build complemented by a chamfered design. You get a quad curve front and rear panel on the Vivo V60. The rounded edges make this phone ergonomic, a rare quality considering all the premium phones have shifted to flat and boxy designs.
Vivo V60 is built around a gorgeous Equal Depth Quad Curve AMOLED with a 6.77” size and FHD+ resolution. The real beauty of this panel is its trimmed and uniform bezels. It feels just as premium as a flagship phone. The screen has all the primo features, like HDR10+ support and a 120Hz refresh rate.
Its peak brightness is 5000nits, though it can’t hit more than 1500nits HBM under normal use. At the heart of the latest Vivo flagship mobile, there’s a Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chip, which is a fitting upgrade over the predecessor’s SD 7 Gen 3. This new platform bumps the clock speed to 2.8GHz and the GPU to Adreno 722. Put simply, this is the closest thing you can get to a flagship chip.
Vivo V60 has another major advantage over the old model: the addition of a telephoto lens. That’s right. Vivo has graced it with a 50MP (IMX882) telephoto lens that’s OIS stabilized and zooms to about a 3.5x range. It’s not a periscope shooter, but you can still crop into it digitally to 100x.
The other cameras are 50MP (Main) + 8MP (ultrawide) — standard on the V line. Vivo sticks to a 50MP outsole for the selfie snapper. Each lens is ZEISS-calibrated, by the way. They have T* coating to remove internal reflections, and the software has the camera company’s color science for natural-looking photos.
Vivo V60 scores an IP68/IP69 rating. The company upgraded its cell to 6500mAh, but the phone uses the same 90W PD input as before. An Infrared port has also been added to the phone. The V60 brings 12/256GB and 12/512GB variants to the Pakistani market. One costs Rs 149,999, while the other sits at Rs 159,999. You get the usual 1-year warranty, 15-day replacement policy, and up to 6 months of warranty for accessories with the Vivo V60.
