Tecno Spark Go 3 Unveiled with a Notched 120Hz LCD, 5000mAh Cell, and IP64 Rating

Tecno Spark Go 3 has been released in one market, and it will surely move on to the others soon enough. It’s an Asian country where they dropped the handset first. It is built around 4G connectivity. Spark Go 3’s design is also odd, mimicking both the iPhone 17 Pro and the vanilla iPhone 17.

It’s been introduced in the Indian market, and we anticipate Spark Go 3 for Pakistan as well. The exact date is unknown, though. The phone’s actual camera island holds two lenses, and it’s designed almost the same as the vanilla iPhone 17.

Then it has a glossy accent underneath that stretches to the other side. This looks like the iPhone 17 Pro, but without the extruded surface. Anyway, the design isn’t the only great thing about it. There’s a 120Hz display on this Spark Go 3.

The screen itself is your garden-variety 6.745” LCD. There’s a notch on it. This new Tecno Spark model looks outdated on the front. It’s a downgrade over the previous version, which had a punch hole. You might have to compromise on the resolution, too. It’s an HD+ 720p panel only.

There’s also an entry-tier Unisoc T7250 chip on the Spark Go 3. We learned that the Spark Go 3 only has one trim with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. There might be more options for other countries. Android 15 boots on this device out of the box, not Android 16.

There’s only a 13MP camera on the back. An 8MP sensor takes selfies. It’s serviceable for the price at least. The battery size is average. It has a 5000mAh capacity, and this plugs into a 15W charger, which means the refills will be slow.

Tecno did put the device through its paces with 1.2m drop tests. And yes, this newcomer does have that minor IP64 rating that came with the older Spark Go 2. Again, there’s only a 4/64GB trim right now that has a nice tidy $99 (~PKR 27,000) price tag. We assume Spark Go 3’s Pakistani cost will be in the ballpark.
