Pova Curve 2’s launch date is Feb 13th. And right now, the company is pushing out as many teasers as it can to promote the phone in the neighboring market. One of those teasers showed the humongous size of its battery. Here’s everything we have on the Tecno Pova Curve 2 so far.
The launch is touted for the Indian market first, but the Pova Curve 2 will probably arrive in other regions later, and Pakistan could be one of them (theoretically). We know how the phone looks from the company’s official Tweet last week.
The design is “Out of the World,” apparently. And the new teaser showed us that the battery on this newcomer is 8,000 mAh or better. They say its endurance is 2 days, which is believable, if the battery is that huge.
The true figures are hidden and marked as Xs. Only the starting numbers are exposed in the chart. Pova Curve 2 is less than 8mm thick. And the weight is less than 200 grams. They also redacted the price, but we received the message clearly. This newcomer is probably the cheapest of all the other phones in the Tecno rate list shown here.
By the way, Pova Curve 2 is a 5G device, and Tecno built it around a Dimensity 7100 SoC. That platform was just made official with a 2.4 GHz clock speed and a Mali G610 iGPU. But this is a downgrade from the original Pova Curve’s Dimensity 7300.
We discovered from the leaked details that the main camera is 50MP, but the other two sensors are unknown. The selfie shooter is possibly 13MP. The power pack seems to be wired to a 45W charging kit, and the chassis is sealed tightly around it with an IP64 rating.
It’s a curved phone with a beveled design and a 3D 144Hz AMOLED. The size could be 6.78” with 1080p or 1.5K resolution. The official unveiling is pretty close, so we’ll know the rest about Pova Curve 2 soon. Keep watching the news for updates.
