The base models cleared 3C certification in China and gave up the charging specs. Galaxy S27 and S27 Plus have 25W and 45W charging. We’ve now found the Samsung Galaxy S27 Pro and S27 Ultra on the same platform, and those two devices also revealed the charging speeds.
These phones have the same power delivery. SM-S9570 is the model code for the Galaxy S27 Pro. And the SM-S9580 is the Galaxy S27 Ultra. Apparently, their chargers can output 20V at 3A. Multiply those numbers, and you get 60W power delivery.
Samsung has had quite a long run with 45W PD charging on the Ultra, but the current Galaxy S26 Ultra upgraded that to 60W, and now the same charging speed is expected for the Galaxy S27 Ultra and S27 Pro. At least that’s what we’ve gathered from the 3C certification.
By the way, it says right there on the listing that the charger won’t be included in the box. 60W charger has to be bought separately, which is a shame. The flagships are getting the bitter end of the stick again, and it applies to all four Galaxy S27 models. Their boxes only include a Type-C cable. Each phone is outfitted with the wireless charging coil, but there hasn’t been any clue about the exact wireless specs. Anyway, there was a leak on X that said Samsung is testing a 4X superzoom telephoto lens.
This lens is actually going to replace both 3X and 5X telephoto cameras on the current Ultra, which means there are only three lenses left on the back. They are actually going to change the design completely in lieu of that camera swap. We’ll put some renders in the post.
By the way, they’ll grab the new One UI 9 straight from the factory, and this time the Pro and Ultra are supposed to use the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro, and the base S27 and S27 Plus may get a mix of Exynos 2700 and Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 stock. Keep watching the news for more updates.
