There was a leak in December claiming that the Galaxy S26 series schedule has been delayed to February 2026. People were skeptical of it at the time, but now more sources are verifying it. A popular French publication has reported the actual sales date for these devices.
This is how the timeline is expected to go. There’s a pretty good chance that the S26 Lineup will debut on February 25 at the Galaxy Unpacked event. Pre-orders will begin around that time. The new leak doesn’t go over the pre-order window, but we are sure it’s there.
The new report did tell us that sales will kick off on March 11, which sounds about right. Samsung doesn’t always deploy the devices as soon as they are taken out to the stage. There’s always a delay with pre-orders and other formalities.
There will be three devices in the series. The Galaxy S26 Plus is back in the picture, since we’ve been seeing plenty of leaks around it. Samsung's new flagship model is here, of course. And part of the group is the basic Galaxy S26.
They are all supposed to have Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chips, at least in the global market. Samsung’s South Korean home market may have its own experimental world’s first 2nm Exynos 2600 silicon for the Galaxy S26 and S26 Plus.
You’ve all seen the potential new design for the Galaxy S26 family. The cameras on all three phones now lie on a platform instead of the backplate. And we think the reason might be reduced thickness, especially the Ultra. Its two-layer camera island has some serious upgrades this time.
The Edge series might not continue after the poor sales of the S25 Edge. They may release one down the line, but we highly doubt it. They’ve delayed the Galaxy S26 launch, but Samsung has pushed up the Galaxy A37 and A57 debut, which is possibly due in mid-February.
