Samsung usually brings the Galaxy S devices in January, but that’s going to change next year. There’s apparently a delay in the Galaxy S26 series production, which is causing the company to push the launch to March 2026. We have found a new leak today that exposed the exact date for the S26 series debut.
The news came from Samsung’s hometown, Korea. It has been claimed in the report that the Galaxy S26 series will launch during a Galaxy Unpacked event in San Francisco, USA. The alleged date for that event is February 25, which lines up with previous rumors.
Of course, the preparations for said event are already underway. The source confirms that there are three devices in the lineup this time, and no Pro version is found among them. They are just your standard yearly refreshed devices: Galaxy S26, S26 Plus, and S26 Ultra.
There have been multiple leaks claiming that a portion of the Samsung latest S model stock will use the Exynos 2600 chip, and despite a limited yield, Samsung has managed to get good results out of this new silicon. It hits 3,455 points on single-core and 11,621 points on multi-core Geekbench tests.
In other news, the rumor mill has unearthed some more design information for the Galaxy S26 series. Companies that make accessories for these devices receive dimensions and design blueprints early, and one such company has already started making screen protectors for S26, S26+, and S26 Ultra.
A leaker on X posted the image of tempered screen protectors for all three devices, and it shows the size disparity between each phone. Obviously, we have the vanilla and S26 Plus models with their usual rounded corners. But the S26 Ultra’s glass protector suggests a change.
The corners on the Galaxy S26 Ultra are even rounder than last year’s S25 Ultra, which was the first in many years to let go of the boxy design. This may be a sign of a permanent change. We have no official confirmation on the launch date yet. We’ll let you know if there’s any new development on that front. Keep watching the news.
