Samsung Galaxy S24 Stops by Singapore's IMDA Certification; Launching in January

The Samsung Galaxy S24 series is nearing a global debut fast, slated for January 17, 2024. The latest stop on its pre-launch tour is Singapore's IMDA certification platform. The base S24 model, assigned with the code SM-S921B/DS, has appeared in a listing, offering a peek at what's to come.


The IMDA listing may not spill the beans entirely, but it confirms essential connectivity features. The Galaxy S24 supports NFC, Bluetooth, WiFi, etc — the usual run-of-the-mill hardware. While there are no more enticing insights within the document, the leak-verse has been busy treating us to renders and specs.

Recent leaks have already handed us some gems, with leaked SIM tray images revealing the Galaxy S24 and S24+ color scheme. Eagre fans can anticipate Orange, Purple, and White colorways. The internal stats are where things get interesting.


The global S24 lineup will feature the Exynos 2400 SoC, while the US and Canadian markets will get the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. The Galaxy S24 boasts a 6.2-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2x display with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate and Full HD+ resolution.


In the camera realm, the Galaxy S24 packs an improved 50-megapixel triple camera setup on the rear and a 12-megapixel selfie shooter upfront. Powering this Samsung latest flagship model is a 4,000mAh battery with 25W quick charging support.
