July update keeps rolling out to more Galaxy phones, and the latest model they updated with this patch is the Samsung Galaxy S24 FE. The other siblings were already updated a few days ago. Of course, South Korea is the first region where we saw the S24 FE’s July 2026 security patch.
It will take a few days for them to completely update the S24 FEs in South Korea, but the update will come to other regions eventually. The next step, obviously, is the global market, and later the same update will be seen on Pakistani S24 FEs. It’s only a matter of time.
The contents of the update are the same as the other Galaxy S24 siblings. The Samsung Galaxy new model will update to the firmware version S721NKSSDDZG3 when you install the July patch. And there are at least 57 fixes inside this update to address the weak points in the current firmware.
We are talking about 16 Samsung Vulnerabilities and Exposures (or SVEs) being deployed by Samsung to polish the security of One UI 8.5, and there are 41 other patches, part of the Android Security Bulletins (ASB) from Google itself. These are supposed to secure the core Android 16 system.
It seems there are no feature additions or any kind of bug fixes in this update. The size of the update will be quite small, though patches in Korea are usually elusive, and the exact details are only found once the update goes global. Still, the July update might just be a few days away from your Galaxy S24 FE.
This is the point when you should start checking for new updates in the Settings and Software Updates menu. The phone will connect to Samsung servers when it sees that there’s an update available. Read the Changelog before you commit to the update; connect to WiFi for stability. And then press Download and Install to start the update process.
