Samsung Galaxy S21 Official Protective Cases Leaked; Here's Your First Look at the New Case Designs

Samsung's Galaxy S21 series is coming ahead of its yearly schedule. The Unpacked launch event is scheduled for January 14. And Samsung has already put the series up for pre-registration. Now comes the last round of leaks. And it brings us the alleged protective cases for the new lineup.

Courtesy of the phone leaker, Ishan Agarwal, and MySmartPrice, the product renders show a range of Galaxy S21 protective cases in every material under the sun — from clear plastic to leather and even metal.

Before we get into the details, however, note that the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra offers S-pen support now. While there isn’t a housing built into the phone itself, Samsung will be releasing special cases designed with a slot for the stylus.

A far as the new flagship series is concerned, almost every other detail is out including the Samsung mobile prices. Here, Mr. Agarwal mentions these cases in his tweet, but he didn’t share the renders. How the S-pen will charge or how Samsung plans to bundle it with the Galaxy S21 Ultra — whether as an add-on or with the case — remains anyone’s guess.

The protective cases come in two forms — flip and standard. The flip cases have clear strips, showcasing the always-on-display features. In both form factors, Samsung had to design the cases around the gigantic, curved camera bumps the S21 series has.

The cases cover the entire back of the phone, leaving only the lenses exposed. So unless you’re rocking a clear case, the eye-catching camera design will rarely see the light of day. The materials range from rugged to regular. You can pick from leather, silicone, and Kvadrat-made fabric (meant for the S21+ and Ultra). The metal cases even have kickstands.
