Samsung Galaxy S21 FE Clears Its TENNA Certification; More Specs and Design Features Uncovered

Samsung Galaxy S21 FE has been making a string of headlines in the past few weeks. From product images and early promos to certifications and specification sheets, the leaks leave little to the imagination. The trend continues with the upcoming Fan Edition clearing yet another certification.

TENNA, the Chinese certification authority, recently signed off on the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE. The product listing contains detailed specifications and even previews that line up perfectly with leaked renders. Samsung has made the Fan Edition thinner and smaller, featuring a 7.9mm build compared to the 8.4mm shell of its predecessor.

We’re looking at a 6.4” screen that delivers a full HD resolution at a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. It’s a flat OLED panel with a hole-punched through its center and an even, slim bezel all around it.

The new Samsung mobile for 2021 is all backed by a 4370 mAh (min) battery. The S21 FE supports faster charging than its fellow S21 editions. Samsung will not ship a charger in the box, but the Galaxy S21 FE is compatible with 25W and 45W power bricks.

We have already learned that the S21 FE will be offered in two chip variants: the U.S. version with Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 and the global option with Exynos 2100. You get 8GB of memory and 256GB of internal storage. Out of the box, the Galaxy S21 FE is powered by the latest Android11-based OneUI 3. It comes in a palette of White, Mint, Red, Orange, Lavender, and Blue.
