Now that Korean phone-maker has secured product certifications for the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S21 Fan Edition, the brand is finally ready to unveil it. Based on a new report, the Galaxy S21 FE is slated for launch next month. The rumor mill gives us the timeline for this release.

Samsung Galaxy S21 FE is set to debut in India on September 8. The leak comes from Twitter-based phone leakers Max Weinbach and MauriQHD. Mr. Weibach also published a photo taken inside a Samsung store that features the S21 FE 5G title.

The seemingly endless string of leaks and certifications that preceded this report has already uncovered the detailed specification sheet of the S21 FE. The new Fan Edition has a lightweight footprint — it weighs 176g and measures 7.8mm in depth.

It carries over the distinctive wrap-around camera design from the original S21 phones. But the paint job is more even here, lacking any contrast or accents. You can pick from mint, white, blue, lavender, and black editions. The S21 FE should also feature an IP rating against dust and water.

The screen is a 6.4” OLED panel that delivers a Full HD resolution, refreshes at 120Hz, and houses the front camera inside an O-hole cutout at a flagship Samsung mobile price. A 32MP selfie lens lives inside this hole punch. Flip the S21 FE over to find a 32MP wide camera, a 12MP ultra-wide lens, and an 8MP telephoto shooter.

Inside the Galaxy S21 FE, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 does the number-crunching. It’s powered by a 4370 mAh battery, 25W wired charging, and 15W wireless charging. OneUI 3 runs on the phone out of the box, naturally.
