As Samsung prepares to launch mid-range phones after flagship releases, the Samsung Galaxy A55 has surfaced again with new details. Recent certifications, including Bluetooth SIG and TUV Rheinland, have shed light on the phone’s charging capabilities and Bluetooth version.

The Bluetooth SIG database entry for the Galaxy A55 reveals at least three variants, namely SM-A556B, SM-A556E, and SM-A556E_DS. Notably, the phone will support Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity, consistent with its predecessor, the Galaxy A54 debuted in 2023.

Furthermore, the TUV Rheinland certification discloses the charging specifications of the Galaxy A55. The device may feature a 25W fast-charging kit, drawing power from a battery that supports 9V and 2.55A input. It also reaffirms earlier information from the phone's CCC certification.

The Galaxy A55, with its evolving set of leaked features and specifications, is anticipated to offer a 6.5-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2x display with a Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Camera-wise, the Samsung 5G new model will likely boast a 32MP selfie camera.

Towards the rear, the Galaxy A55 may include a triple camera setup comprising a 50MP primary sensor, a 12MP ultrawide lens, and a 5MP macro lens. Distinctive design elements include a metal frame that departs from the norm in the Galaxy A series.

The Key Island design for the power and volume keys area is new and will remain consistent throughout the A series. Powering the device, the Exynos 1480 processor, coupled with an AMD RDNA2-powered Xclipse 540 GPU, is anticipated to deliver robust performance.

Essential features on the A55 include 8GB of RAM, 128GB or 256GB of storage room, a microSD card slot, a 5,000mAh battery, stereo speakers, an in-display fingerprint reader, and an IP67 rating for water and dust resistance.
