Samsung Galaxy A54 Featured in Early Previews and Specs; Sleeker Design and Side-grades

Last month, Samsung announced the Galaxy A53 5G following a seemingly endless string of leaks and reports. The rollout for the Galaxy A53 has only just begun, but the rumor mill has already brought us our first look at next year’s model. Titled the Galaxy A54 5G, the phone’s alleged specs and mockups were leaked.

The publication LetsGoDigital posted a few product images showcasing the Samsung Galaxy A54. Samsung has filed the frame edges to make them flatter. And it shaved off the bezel all around for an even, very narrow border. Plus, the camera plate is much thinner now as the lenses stick out a fair bit.

It’s still a frosted casing shown in matte blue, pink, black, and white shades. Note that it’s too early to corroborate the color options. But we may be looking at the finalized design of this mid-ranger.

The display still includes an O-hole in the center. The upcoming addition to the Samsung price catalog packs a 6.5” SuperAMOLED panel, producing a 120Hz refresh rate and 1080P resolution. We find a cluster of 64MP OIS wide, 12MP ultra-wide, and two 5MP cameras on the back. So a side-grade all in all (at least on paper.)

Everything runs on a 5000 mAh battery and fast charging support. But the charging brick and the 3.5mm audio port will remain missing in 2023 too. Expect the latest version of Android to power this hardware. The Galaxy A54 will be offered in 6GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB variants.
